Patronage
Patronage is an optional upgrade that saves you time and gives you a better view of your empire. It lasts 7 days and is bought with 1,500 village gold, which your villages' gold mines produce as you play.
What it gives you
Empire overview
Every village on one page: resources, production, storage, gold and what each village is building, plus your whole army - at home, away and reinforcing.
Large map
Open the map in a large view (up to 17 × 17 squares) and see where your troops from this village are heading.
Archives
Keep important messages and reports in an archive, and select many at once to archive or delete them.
Notepad
A notepad in your messages for plans, coordinates and anything you want to remember.
Marketplace search
Filter the marketplace offers by resource and by ratio, so you only see the trades you want.
Graphical statistics
Graphs of your rank, population, villages and army over time.
Direct links
Your own shortcuts in the side column - to a building, an ally, a marketplace search, anything.
Two upgrades at a time
Queue a second upgrade at the Blacksmith and the Armoury.
Auto-completion and report filter
Village names complete as you type, and you can switch off trade reports you do not need.
What it never gives
- No stronger troops: attack and defence come only from your soldiers, their upgrades and your champion.
- No resources and no extra production.
A player with Patronage sees more and clicks less. A player without it can do everything in the game, with a few more clicks.
